WHAT TO DO

We’ve put together a few of our favorite places to explore around Amman for anyone wanting to experience a little more of the city during the wedding weekend. These are some places we think are worth visiting while you’re here.

Al Balad
(Downtown)

The old downtown and the heart of Amman. Walk around to see Ammans oldest market for old antiques, spices, shopping and souvenirs. Make sure to stop by Hashem for a local breakfast/dinner experience and the Legendary Kunafa at Habiba.

Jabal Al Lweibdeh

The birth place of artists, poets and writers. An area with a lively atmosphere all day around. For a nice cup of coffee and tea in the morning to your favorite drink at night!

For local Breakkie, Go for Al Nowar, A Khal and Rumi.

Enjoy a nice sunset at Al Manara Cafe, make sure you go early!

For late night shenanigans 😉: Reds, Dali, Rustic, Maestro.

Fine dining: Jasmine house is a must, for nice seasonal dishes!

Amman Citadel

The Citadel sits high above the city with sweeping views, ancient ruins, and layers of Jordan’s history all in one place. It’s a beautiful spot to explore at sunset and experience the timeless side of Amman.

Rainbow Street

One of Amman’s most loved streets, Rainbow Street is known for its cafés, local shops, old houses, and lively atmosphere. Whether you’re walking through at sunset or spending the evening there, it’s a great spot to experience the city’s charm and energy.

WHERE TO EAT

If you’re making a full weekend out of it (and we hope you do!), here are a few of our favorite spots to eat.
